Helping navigate the human experience of VAD.
Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) has a defined legal and medical pathway in NSW and other states and territories of Australia. Put simply, VAD allows eligible people with a terminal illness to request medicine to end their life at a time and in the manner of their choosing.
For the person choosing VAD — and the family and friends alongside them — there are conversations to have, decisions to make, emotions to navigate and a death to prepare for. Finity is privileged to walk alongside you and your loved ones and provide continuity of support during this extremely sacred and emotional time.
Continuity of support before, during and after death.
Finity provides support from choosing VAD, through to preparing for the time ahead and the final day, walking alongside you and your loved ones throughout the entire end-of-life experience.

Choosing VAD - what happens next?
You or your loved one has chosen VAD. Now what? Navigating the time between choosing VAD and dying - the conversations, relationships, emotions, unfinished business and practicalities along the VAD journey.

Planning for the day
How do you want your last day to be? Thoughtful preparation for a death that reflects the person departing - the people, place, atmosphere, music, ritual and moments that matter.

Family and social support
VAD doesn't only affect the person who is departing. Partners, children, friends and wider family are living this experience too - often with different emotions, beliefs and levels of acceptance.
